- Stops magical creatures from passing in either directions (zombies, maybe not litches)
- Nonmagical creatures including mages can cross, but can’t cast spells across them
- To learn pentagram you need to learn the spell “spell shield” which is advanced.
- 1 unit of energy and 1 second per square foot
- 10ft square is the smallest
- Can get people to help to save time on casting
- Can’t teleport in and out of them, but you can summon hostile creatures into them
- Caster can open the pentagram any time they choose
- Magic can’t injure the pentagram. You can just mess it up by hand without issue
- Can throw a rock in or out, but magical creature can’t throw in or out
- Magical creatures can try to force their way through a prentagram if it’s strong enough or has enough willpower. Would be a direct contest with the caster’s skill and the creature. Can only try this once every 24 hours.
- An existing pentagram can be reactivated by casting it again much cheaper.
