Still day 1 of the loop
We are in the hallway with voices ahead

• It's a "medium" group of people
• "This way! The other way's a dead end!"
• We all try to hide, solstice goes invisible and unconcious
• A group of people wearing long red robes
  • various different masks
  • looking into the grotto trying to find something
  • One has a golden mask
    • "somebody definitely tampered with my spell, I could feel it" (Milo had used unstructured magic earlier to disable the ward)
    • "we'll have to bring in gakatash" Gakatash - Beholder
• In the hallways with the shimmering field, there's a shadow of the beholder.
• They catch up with me, the others nearly got out. I offer to join when they ask me to surrender.
  • They lead us to a big central drain hole
    • 30 meters across
  • "do we take them in?... we only have a month left... we can have some casualties"
  • Big spiral staircase
  • Beholder floats through one nondescript section of wall, it's an illusion wit ha tunnel behind it
  • There's a bunch of rooms down the hallway, but they take us into an early room
    • Bookshelf with a bizzar collection of items. bag of something? jars, etc.
    • "How did you know about us? should we call rarder?"
    • I offer to join or be a spy
    • They bring in someone higher rank
  • The guy with the golden mask comes in (Rarder)
    • I basically info dump everything
    • When they ask if anyone else knows I say yeah heaps of people so I don't get assassinated. It works!
    • Rarder has to escalate to someone even higher up
  • The air feels thicker, dust and rocks start floating
    • Xataquar shows up
      • golden bracers, greives, golden crown, gold scepter, glowing green chest, glowing green eyes, black metal bones.
      • "curious, and they're children... I already have a source of information that sounds all too familiar"
      • "have you ever seen a cultist with a black pool of shadow... things have been strange since I arrived here. someone else told me they have vision" (implies it's zach)
      • He brands Milo with a magical black skull on his forehead Kris says its; "some kind of identification spells"
      • He let's us go "let's fuck shit up" he says
• Meanwhile tavien, phadros, solstice, and Ellis go to try and sell the crystals
  • Tavien said beholder a bunch, so they're probably getting killed
  • Mageport: sounds like they have better prices for stuff like the crystals?
• We meet up at taviens
  • We discuss all the happened, can't decide if X is in the loop
• We go to Azena so we don't get assassinated
  • We go for bubble tea
  • We find a place to sleep
  • Zach is somewhere in the dustlands, we want to go find him
