We memorize the entirety of the mind college, and learn a few spells.

#acr/loop

Zack wakes us up earlier than normal, we do normally just sleep through the first few hours of the loop.
We go to Kamtara, and get on an airship after swinging through the town to get to the docks.
The airship takes us to the temple of Wyndar on the floating island above the endless ocean. We talk to a halfling that managed to join the guild after many years.
The floating island feels slightly bouncy to Milo.
The temple is a bit of a tight squeeze, and has active glyphs for defence? Notification?
A glyph goes off with a small shower of sparks, and a dire wolf squashed into this narrow hallway appears in front of the next glyph.
Milo sends it back from whence it came with a gate. Next a panther appears, and Milo sends it to the dire wolf. Then an axebeak (ostrich but with an axe beak) appears. We shoo it off, and exit into the main chamber. There is a tall thin set of stairs that can be climbed, and Milo tosses a teacup from the top of it, as per the airship captains request.

We see a magical construct humming and floating over some red mushrooms in front of an alcove on the edge of the temple's main room. The magical construct is a membrane of energy that is holding something within it.

As we approach we notice these red bell mushrooms all across the floor. They very easily release big spore clouds. Milo determines these are red paralysis mushrooms.
Milo makes the floor static, and the spores all drop.
We all feel a lurch in the ground for half a second, the ground drops and then we land. What's going on?? We then feel the room starting to lean. We all manage to squeeze past the construct and see a lovely tile picture.

There are four double sided panels of tiles, each on levers. The panels show constellations. As we look at the panels we feel the floor lurch again.
We solve the puzzle, and the mural wall starts to descend. We see a magical field inside, and notice that the island is now in free-fall.
We see a treasure room, three Kenku, the dagger, and a large spell book. The Kenku are already paralyzed from the mushroom spores freely floating around.
Solstice channels an immense amount of power into something fantastic.
Phaidros uses his super speed to gather the dagger, spellbook, and the three Kenku, while directing Milo with great leadership.
Milo creates a gate within the falling room for us to escape through, harder than it sounds as the gate must fall with us.
Solstice succeeds in ripping the treasure room free of the rest of the island with an insane levitate spell.
We do a quick breathe-held loot of the treasure room before exiting through the portal and the levitate spell ends, dropping the treasure room.

We gather ourselves on the dock, and see the island drop into the ocean and there is a purple/blue explosion, looking like what the magical construct would look like if it had great magical power and exploded.

The soul knife has two abilities:

  1. Expend 10 energy to instantly learn a spell.
  2. Soul kill - permanently remove a soul from the cube.

The tome is the Tome of Air, and contains the Air college of spells.

The islands have started falling within the last three or four hundred years. This is not the first island to fall.
The Kenku have enchanted themselves to speak. They were there to learn the spells from the book I recovered, and have not heard of the red mage.

We head to His Bar, there's no bar like His Bar.
We start learning spells using the dagger.
